Jameson Irish Whiskey 12 Years Old Distillery Reserve

Jameson 12 Years Old Distillery Reserve Irish Whiskey

Jameson 12 Years Old Distillery Reserve Irish Whiskey

Jameson Irish Whiskey 12 Years Old Distillery Reserve 40% abv

This bottle was a souvenir gift from a visit to the Midleton Distillery in County Cork in 2002, and there continues to be a “Distillery Reserve” offering available only from the distillery itself.  I had forgotten that it had been signed by Master Distiller, Barry Crockett, at the edge of the label.

Aromas of cedar, orange marmalade, spice, Christmas pudding; ex-bourbon sweetness and vanilla at the front of the palate, pronounced spice but not overpowering; sherry wine sweetness at the back with burnt orange; soft lingering finish.
